Our Social Vision: Empowering Women Through Art
Our Contribution to the Local Community
We believe that the unconditional love we share with our pets can also be reflected in how we give back to the community.
We bulit a training center that can accomodate 100 students. Every year, we offer free needle felting courses to Timorese people, providing them with the opportunity to become professional artists at Woolly Pet.
In 2023, more than 50 local Timorese received trainings from Woolly Pet and are now able to provide sustainable support to their families.
Empowerment of Women
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
Over the past years, Woolly Pet has been working with multiple non-profit organizations in Timor-Leste to provide training programs for disadvantaged women who are single mothers or have been domestically abused. Our programs have helped them to learn new skills, explore new career path, and achieve financial independence.
